Felting & socializing in virtual space
CorNit's Felting Camp 2026 ONLINE
- 10 - 21th of April
“I’ve learned so many things that I can’t wait to work into other projects.THX!” Nadja Mueller – student from the German speaking virtual camp with the same program.
Sarah Vaci shows what happens when felt stops being well-behaved and starts causing a stir…
Wool, time and some “unwanted” helpers team up in ways that are bold, beautiful and just a tiny bit outrageous. Soft material, big drama…
If you enjoy surprising surfaces, daring ideas and felt that refuses to be boring, don’t miss this after-party presentation. This is the kind of work that makes you stare, smile, and think: well, that is annoyingly brilliant.
Judit and Ferenc Venczel will present you wonderful wooden felting tools made of different types of woods. Most of them were developed for Judit’s needs during her own felting journeys. So she’ll open your eyes with recommendations what type you can use for what kind of shaping and fulling.
In addition to her experience feel free to bring your own problems and ask her for suggestions if you already wondered how to get you felt piece dense in tricky corners or how to shape it as wished.
A walk on the not so lint-free paths of the human soul leaded by Péter Póth mental health professional. He will lead you on an inner journey…and what you bring back from there will enrich you for sure.
An approx. 3-4 hour (this depends on you) program combined with felting. As material you can take any type of wool that you just have at home. More info via email, it will be exciting…
In an on-site course, you diligently take notes in hopes that you can recall everything later. And then in 3 years you don’t find them or can’t image what was ment with…if you can decipher your handwriting at all. With the video downloads, you’re guaranteed to have all the info years from now, no tip goes lost. And you can rewind as many times as you need.
Well-deserved stretching of hard-working muscles and limbs under professional guidance. Free yourself from cramps, promote blood circulation, let your creative mind rest a bit. Practically from screen to screen in your usual environment.
The excercises are suited for people who have never done yoga or work outs before.
Our professional yoga instructor Anita Gyertyános leads you from Burma so international workshop spots are guaranteed. 🙂
Hang out with your felting peers intercontinental at the virtual ZOOM campfire chats, maybe while cooking at home or mending clothes, without Corinna. It’s like an uncontrolled classroom…LOL
Where are you felting around the globe? What else do you do? Do you do a lot of felting in your country? Do you cook letcho with or without chili? What breeds of sheep do you have? Free topics without direction, just drop in to see who is around and have tea together or work together on any felt project.
In the camp’s facebook group you can reach Corinna, the tutors and your fellow felters during the camp and afterwards.
If you felt only or again in a few months, upload a photo in this group because there your work is always gladly received and will reach people.
Also the work of others can inspire you there now and in the future.
Let us surprise you with a Hungarian dish and dessert. But because you are far away, we show you how to make them. Nothing complicated; feel free to improvise if you don’t have the same ingredients.
After it, we can discuss what different things came out on different parts of the globe. I guess, all will be yummi…
A few times this week we’ll come together just for fun and socializing. We might do some stitching, felting, or mending clothes together while shooting the breeze or end up discussing deep topics of life or maybe chatting about troubleshooting in felting.
Bring your ideas, wishes, questions and stories or just hang out with open ears with lovely ladies from all over the world.
… for bags, belts, hats, headbands etc.
The belt or the headband are really just an excuse… Learn how to create this exciting texture with different line layouts and endless color combinations, and then use it on any felted object.
Decorate bags, hats, slippers, or anything else you can think of with the technique Nadia Szabó, Hungarian-Ukrain felt artist shows you.
…with Japanese sumi ink, soy milk & more.
Ancient techniques for creating patterns on silk that can later be felted in:
You “dye” white on white (!) and only marvel later. Or discover “all the things that can be done by degumming silk (=removing the sericin layer).” Patterning in a completely different way: taking the color out, leaving shibori motifs behind without using chemical bleach.
Patterning, or the trendy “mark making,” with the most environmentally friendly black: sumi ink on silk. Adventurous effects with Japanese soot pigments and soy; you can simply pour the leftovers into the garden. Let yourself be surprised!
(There is no felting in this course.)
Felt your own upholstery but no hammering, no stapling.
A flea-market chair or an old stool from Grandma often cries out for a new cover. With Hungarian feltmaker Bea Németh, you will learn how to felt a fitting new cover for the “old foam” and put it on — no upholsterer’s knowledge and tools required.
One surface design method combined with wool locks is shown in the course, but you can work entirely individually if you would prefer a different one.
You will also learn how to felt locks on all around it.
…and with an enchanting 3D pattern
A bag with many faces.
You will learn how to create your bag with interchangeable flaps, and
shape the pattern three-dimensionally through stitching.
In the course, you will make a bag with one removable flap. Later you can make more flaps for the same bag.
…that even hold water, as a vase should.
Discarded spray bottles, plastic bottles, and jars are built in: the vase becomes waterproof, and you become even more eco-friendly.
We will also explore how to create interesting textures using knitted fabric.
With or without a base? That depends… so there are two approaches right away; you decide which one you want to follow in the course.
Virtual and interactive exhibition of the tutors’ felt art work.
Ask and nurse your curiosity directly at the spring.

Without this you can watch the videos online until 1st of August 2025.
Basic knowledge of felting (hollow felt, string, ball, surface) is desirable. But there have been several brave pioneers who felted their very first time here – and it worked out well. You also have the 100% money-back-guarantee so there is no risk for you, give it a try.
You can choose PayPal, bank card or bank transfer after adding the ticket to the shopping cart.
No problem! 🥳 Also other people have their chores in these 10 days or they go to work every day. Then watch the videos online anytime or after downloading them. There will still be programs that might fit you for joining live. In the forum group or the Q&A sessions you can ask your questions and show your work.
The recordings should be available after approx. 36 hours of every program as they require some editing before and we might be in different time zones.
We’ll do it for you! 🥳 You’ll get a countdown clock via email for every program. So you just have to check your clock at home what time it is and add what is showed by the countdown’s clock. So you’ll be for sure at the right time with all starts.
You’ll here everything in original English or translated to English.
No, please check the materials list and order what you need and don’t have at home. The materials list will arrive immediately after you purchase via email and you can also download it from the thank you page that opens after purchase.
Yes! You can watch all classes also online or downloaded independently of the live zoom lessons. You should get all the help to finish your work happily in the Q&A sessions and in the forum group. 🤩
The wonderfully organized, creative, educational, inspiring, exciting, exhausting and fun felting week.... Although we have been felting for a long time we learned a lot and got many new ideas. It was a great experience!

For me it was an instructive and very lively meeting. Especially in this time it was a super nice cheer up and motivation

‼️ Please note: It is more worth to buy a full ticket, because it doesn’t cost twice as much as a single ticket, but there is more than 5 times as much program in it.
The single course tickets contain only the program taking place on that one day you choose: the live felting class + the recorded course videos + PDF and a Q&A follow up.
With the single ticket you don’t have access to any bonus program.
The download tickets are supplementary tickets and are not valid individually, without a full-camp ticket or single course ticket.

We were out of reality for a week, didn't have to think about news. I had to regain my footing, like when you come home after a nice vacation.
