FAQ

Basic felting skills are helpful to make the process faster and easier. However, it’s a very simple project, so don’t hesitate to join even if you are a beginner! In the previous workshop ladies who never ever felted before showed their great carrots at the end.

Here is what you need for felting:
– Carded wool (or wool roving if you don’t have carded wool) in carrot color(s): 4 pieces, about 8 cm long, weighing approx. 10 g together, so a handful of wool is already enough for one carrot. A little root-colored wool for the tip, and green curls or other green fibers for—surprise—the greens. (We won’t make 4 pieces during the ZOOM; this is just to give you a feel for the amount of wool needed.) Small fiber bits and wool scraps in various shades of yellow and red will enrich the surface.
– Soap, warm water, felting mat
– Towel and optionally a sponge
– Felting needle or needle and thread
– Sharp scissors

You cannot download the recording, but you can watch it online until Apr 12. We will send you a link to access it once you sign up for the course.

Approx. 1.5 to 2 hours starting at 5:00 pm CET, 11 am EST, 8 am PST. If you arrive significantly later and no one lets you in, we might already be snoozing offline.

You will receive the workshop recording as a link via email within 24 hours after the course ends.
